This Page is in tribute and honor of those that leave the safety and dryness of their homes to watch the skies over North-Central Oklahoma and keep us informed of impending dangerous weather!! 

 From time to time, these selfless individuals have a second or two to take a photo of what they see and are willing to share it with us.

This is a great opportunity for you and I,  to take a quick peak into the world of weather watchers and some of these photos are actually from the "Spotters" themselves.

Do You have a photo that you would like to share with our viewers?  

Here's what you'll need to do:

  • If possible e-mail your photo in a ".jpeg"  or "gif" format just  mailto:twister1@kskc.net

  • Please include your name, address & phone # with your photo as Weather Lab will call you to make sure that it was your photo that was sent. We may want more information about your photo for our viewers.

  • If you are a member of a spotter group, i.e. Skywarn, any city's E.O.C. organization.

  • Please include the date and location of the photo taken and any other description and information.  Weather Lab does reserve the right to edit all descriptions (in order to keep it as short as possible).

  • Weather Lab does not,  nor will not claim any copyright privileges on your photo.   If you so desire, it is acceptable for you to send your copyrighted photo to us for display on this website.   Weather Lab asks you to place your copyright on your photo before sending it.  Oh yeah, some of Weather Labs photos will also be shown. (yes, they'll be copyrighted)


Category Descriptions:

Storm Clouds:        Photos from a distance of a storm system, structure,  & ect.

Storm Photos       These will be pictures of individual storm cells and their components:  
                                        i.e.: shelf clouds, scud, hail, rain shafts, micro or macro-bursts, shots of
                                       dust blowing across a field, ect.

Floods:                  Ariel views of a city or roads.  Before & after pictures are pictures
                                        are also welcomed.

Tornadoes              This includes, wall clouds, funnels, land & water spouts & cold air  funnels
                                        and.... tornadoes

Storm Damage:      Pretty much self explanatory.

Lightning:                   Also self explanatory.
